Quick Start for Your Shop on Shoporium.comtm
Note: You will need to register with Shoporium.comtm and set up your account before you will be able to submit inventory to your
shop.
Set Up:
Start by setting up your Shoporium defaults on your Auction Submit software:
Click on the "Options" dropdown found at the top of your Auction Submit Screen. Select the Edit Defaults-Shoporium tab . Fill in your registered email address.
Also, if you consistently use one particular category, you can select that category as your default category.
A great way to direct traffic to your shop is to add links from your Yahoo & Amazon auction listings to your shop. Auction Submit can automatically add this link for you.
If you would like to set this up, click on the "Links on Auctions" tab. Click on the check box in front of the "Add a Link to my Shoporium shop...",
in the "Shop Name" field insert the name that you use for the name of your shop. If you have not bought a custom domain, select the "Standard Shoporium Address" choice and enter the name that you selected for the directory of your shop.
If you are using your own domain name on Shoporium, choose the "Custom Domain Name" choice and enter your domain name. Be sure to click the "Save Defaults" button. NOTE: eBay does not allow these links so you will need to disable this feature BEFORE submitting to eBay. ( eBay does allow links from your About Me page to your shop. )
Update the Shoporium categories:
There are ongoing additions to the categories on Shoporium, so there is a function built in to Auction Submit to allow you to import category changes.
To make sure that you have all of the latest categories, connect to the web, go to the "Categories" dropdown at the top of your Auction Submit screen, and click "Update Shoporium Categories". You should see a status screen listing category changes. Wait for the "Done Updating Categories" screen, then close the status screen.
To Enter & Update Inventory:
** TIP ** If you haven't listed on any site but eBaytm you may not realize that there are actually other site options in the "Submit to" box on the Add New Listing and Relist screens. Click on the little "down arrow" in the same block as eBaytm, scroll down to Shoporium and click it. You should now see Shoporium in the box instead of eBaytm. Just make sure you select Shoporium for all of the inventory you want to submit to your shop.
New Listings: You can generate listings for your shop the same way that you create auction listings. For new listings go to the New Listing tab and click on the "Create a New Listing" button at the bottom of the screen. In the "Submit To" dropdown box, instead of selecting one of the auctions select Shoporium. Then you just proceed to enter information the same way you would with the auction listings. You can preview your item. And when you're done you can submit your inventory one item at a time or all at once.
Note: You can submit inventory to different auctions and to Shoporium at the same time. You will just be asked for your different passwords the first time an item is submitted to the sites you are using.
Moving Existing Inventory from Auction to Shop: Go to either the "Sold" or "Unsold" tab on your software, click on the item you would like to submit to Shoporium, hit the Relist button. Select the Shoporium option in the "Submit To" dropdown, make any changes you want to make, select a category and click the Relist button at the bottom. Your inventory is then moved to the New Listings screen where you just have to click one of the Submit buttons when you are ready to submit your inventory.
Moving Existing Inventory from Shop to Auction: Go to the "Current Shop Items" tab on your software. The Current Shop Items screen displays all inventory currently listed on your shop and also has the functions to shift an item from the shop to an auction or to record a sold item.
Click on the item you would like to submit to auction, click the "Move to Auction Site" button at the bottom, and then follow the normal process for relisting.
Recording Sold Items or Deleting Listings: To remove inventory from your shop go to the "Current Shop Items" tab on Auction Submit, highlight the item, and click the Move to Sold button. A window will pop up that gives you the option of also recording the buyer's email address and sends the item to the Sold screen. You also have the ability to remove an item from inventory without relisting it to auction even if it hasn't sold, just click on the Move to Unsold button.
Changing A Category or Making Changes to An Item: Go to the "Current Shop Items" tab on Auction Submit, highlight the item, and click the Move to Auction Site button at the bottom of the Current Shop Items screen. A relist screen will come up. Select Shoporium in the Submit To box and make your changes. Then click the Relist button.
