Any updates will be posted here along with installation instructions. If you have a specific question be sure to check the Customer Support pages and the User Reference Guide.
June 3: SAD NEWS The past few weeks have been a very difficult time for us... Dan Goldstein, who was the creator and ongoing developer & innovator of Auction Submit®
died recently in a car accident. He was a bright light in the world and his death has been a devastating blow to his family, friends, and colleagues.
Among his many other accomplishments, it is incredible to think that he has provided to us a dynamic, professional quality, free, auction submission tool since 1999. This included, literally, hundreds of updates to compensate for the numerous changes
on eBay®
At this time, the status of Auction Submit® is as follows:
- Due to eBay® technical changes this past week, Auction Submit® auction submissions and auction updates are not functional.
- All Shoporium® features are still functional.
- We are unable to create or issue new updates at this time or into the foreseeable future.
We are currently evaluating our options. These include:
- Abandoning the Auction Submit® project.
- Selling the source code to someone else who wants to continue the project either as freeware or as a pay for use tool.
- Spending the time to analyze the source code in house and transforming Auction Submit® into a pay for use tool.
- Come up with some other creative solution.
We have activated a new email address, ideas@auctionsubmit.com . If you have a reasonable proposal please send it here.
March 23: Update to Fix Problem Updating eBay® Auctions : We have issued a new update to compensate for technical modifications made by eBay® that were causing a problem when updating auctions with Auction Submit®.
You should be prompted to automatically install this update when you submit your next auction --
In any event you can use your Update Modules function to install the new update as follows:
Get online, close all other programs including your browser (also -- if you have more than one copy of Auction Submit® on your computer, make sure that only one copy is open). Click on the Modules dropdown menu at the top of your Auction Submit® screen, and select "Update Modules".
You should see a few status screens and eventually get a "Done Updating" window. Just close this window and within 30 - 60 seconds (please be patient) Auction Submit® should reappear with all updates installed.
The latest eBay Module version is now 1.138 .
You can check on your version as follows:
Click on the Options dropdown menu at the top of your Auction Submit screen, and select Edit Defaults --eBay. When the Edit eBay Defaults window comes up,
look at the bottom of this screen. Between the "Save Defaults" and "Cancel" buttons you should see text that says,"eBay Module Version 1.138"
December 18: RE: December 15 Problem Submitting Auctions to eBay® : We have been monitoring this problem for the last few days and it appears that this problem was intermittent and was apparently caused
by a problem on the eBay® servers. As of this evening, our test submissions are not seeing a problem, so we do not believe that an update of Auction Submit® is necessary at this time.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support of Auction Submit® and wish you a wonderful holiday season and prosperous New Year.
December 15: Problem Submitting Auctions to eBay® : eBay® has incorporated a new technical modification that is causing a problem when submitting auctions with Auction Submit® . We are

We are working on this and will issue an update as soon as possible.
September 24: Error Logging On to eBay® : This morning some users experienced an "Error Logging On" problem when submitting auctions to eBay®. Apparently
eBay® is experimenting with their sign in program and this is what caused the problem. Currently eBay® has restored the old sign in program so the "Error Logging On" should not be occuring.
For more information on what eBay is working on see http://www2.ebay.com:80/aw/marketing.shtml#2004-09-23115003. When Ebay makes a permanent change we will issue an update to compensate.
